The meeting was attended by the foundation’s Executive Director, Valéry Freland, and the Chair of the ALIPH Foundation’s Board, Bariza Khiari, who also serves as the Special Representative of French President Emmanuel Macron for Cultural Cooperation.
During the meeting, they discussed prospects for collaboration in the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage sites, as well as opportunities to develop programs and projects aimed at preserving intangible cultural heritage. Particular attention was given to joint efforts within the framework of the Aral Culture Summit, which aims to protect the region’s cultural heritage and ecosystem.
