A presentation of the new educational project — Aral School — was held at IT Park Nukus.

Initiated by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation (ACDF) and first introduced at the Aral Culture Summit, the programme is conceived as a “laboratory for the future”. It brings together young professionals and graduates from Karakalpakstan, different regions of Uzbekistan, and abroad to explore innovative approaches to cultural regeneration, ecological restoration, and the sustainable development of the Aral Sea region.

The event was led by Programme Director Jan Boelen, together with mentors Elena Kan and Sagitjan Aitjanov. The attendees were introduced to the details of the course, which will run from January to July 2026.

Applications are open until 5 October. Apply here.
