The delegation of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation visited the Grand Egyptian Museum, which recently opened near the Pyramid of Khufu and has become the largest archaeological museum in the world.

Occupying more than 500,000 square metres, the museum showcases an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian heritage, including the treasures of Tutankhamun’s tomb.

The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to familiarise themselves with the new institution and to exchange experience in the preservation and presentation of global cultural heritage.
