Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, held a meeting with Abdullah Al-Abdullah, Executive Director of the Reach Out to Asia (ROTA) programme of the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation.
The parties discussed the prospects of implementing joint educational initiatives aimed at empowering young people in the field of green economy, climate education and sustainable development.
They also discussed cultural and educational programmes between Uzbekistan and Qatar with a focus on crafts and traditional practices, including for youth from rural areas and the Aral Sea region as a region with high environmental risk.
