From February 25 to 27, 2025, a suzani embroidery masterclass was held at the King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts in London with the support of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation. Led by the talented Madina Kasymbayeva, participants explored traditional Uzbek embroidery techniques, learned about the symbolism of ornamental patterns, and experimented with creating their own designs.
This event continued a series of initiatives dedicated to Uzbek craftsmanship. Previously, in September 2024, the venue hosted Craft Week, featuring the works of Uzbek ceramic artist Shokhrukh Rakhimov.
