Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, met with the UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan, Sabine Mahl, to discuss current and future areas of cooperation.

The meeting reviewed the outcomes of the 2021–2025 cooperation program and preparations for the new 2025–2030 cycle. Sabine Mahl highlighted the successful results and expressed hope for further strengthening of the partnership.

Special attention was given to the development of the Aral Sea region, the introduction of creative industries, the work of the Multi-Partner Trust Fund, as well as projects following the 2025 Aral Summit — in particular, the creation of the Aral School and the reconstruction of the “Istiqlol” Park in Nukus.
