Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, held a meeting with Lina Mendoni, Minister of Culture of Greece. The parties discussed cooperation within the framework of UNESCO, including mutual support for initiatives and candidacies.
They explored opportunities to expand collaboration in the preservation and digitalization of cultural heritage, including expert exchanges, joint research seminars, and virtual exhibitions. Joint projects in the fields of art, crafts, festivals, and academic cooperation through UNESCO programs were also discussed.
The meeting highlighted the shared commitment of Uzbekistan and Greece to strengthening cultural dialogue and promoting joint initiatives in culture, education, and the creative industries.
