The Aral Culture Summit is a new initiative aimed at transforming the Aral Sea region through art, culture, design, and science, with a focus on social and ecological change.
The inaugural summit, organised by the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan, will take place from 4th to 6th April 2025 in the capital of Karakalpakstan, Nukus.
The summit will be held every 18 months and will bring together local and international activists, artists, and scholars to find ecological, social, and cultural solutions for the sustainable development of Karakalpakstan.
