"The Splendor of Uzbekistan's Oases: At the Crossroads of the Caravan Routes" was a long-awaited and labor-intensive project that took four years to prepare for. More than 70 rare exhibits made of ceramics, wood, metal, wall paintings, and paper were restored to be shown in the famous Parisian museum. In total, 138 items from museums in Uzbekistan were presented. For the first time, the rich cultural heritage of the region was shown in one of the largest museums in the world, revealing the history of the Great Silk Road to an international audience.

Since its opening on November 23, 2022, the exhibition has been visited by more than 260,000 people. The Fund for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan expresses its gratitude to all the specialists who participated in the implementation of this important project.
