In St. Petersburg, on the margins of the International Conference on Creative Economy, the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives of the Russian Federation signed a Protocol of Cooperation.
The document was signed by Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, and Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of ASI. The agreement provides for the adaptation and implementation in Uzbekistan of the Regional Standard for the Development of Creative Industries, which includes the best regulatory practices, methodological framework and analytical tools already used in 67 regions of Russia.
The signing was an important step in strengthening the partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia in the creative economy and opened new opportunities for sharing experience, conducting joint research and developing strategies for the development of creative industries.
