A meeting took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York between Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, and Haoliang Xu, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Administrator of UNDP.
During the discussion, they explored opportunities for cooperation in cultural development, heritage preservation, and support for creative initiatives. They also discussed collaboration in educational programmes and ways to strengthen international dialogue through art.
The meeting also touched upon future joint projects in the fields of arts and culture, as well as broader cooperation prospects. Additionally, they discussed preparations for upcoming major events, including the Aral Summit in Nukus and the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference.
