It was noted that during the preparation of the Hermès Heritage: In Motion exhibition, the Hermès team drew inspiration from the rich heritage of Central Asia. Folk and artisanal crafts, including painted saddles in the Bukhara style, served as significant sources of inspiration. A Bukhara saddle in the Hermès collection is one such example.

The Foundation’s delegation also participated in the panel session “Movement and Heritage: A Dialogue between Tradition, Craft, and Design.” The session was moderated by Elena Trkulja, with speakers including Her Excellency Sheikha Mayassa, Wissam Al Mana, Menoeld de Balser du Chatel, and Jean-Louis Sava.
