At the closing of the International Jazz Festival, a performance will be given by the Jazz Band led by the People’s Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mansur Tashmatov.
Mansur Ganiyevich began his career with the projects “Sintez”, “Navo”, and “Sado”, working across both pop and jazz genres. At the festival, Tashmatov will present an extensive programme of jazz standards, including songs by Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Stevie Wonder and other iconic performers. For the Tashkent audience, this is a special occasion — a meeting with a musician who has devoted his life to developing jazz in his homeland.
