On the sidelines of SPIEF 2026, a session entitled “Creative Economy: Competition of Narratives or Unity Around Shared Values” was held, focusing on the role of creative industries in fostering international cooperation and cultural dialogue.
The session featured Bobirmirzo Sayemov, Head of the Creative Economy Sector of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who presented the country’s experience in developing the creative economy. He outlined the reforms being implemented and highlighted key initiatives aimed at supporting the creative industries.
The case studies presented attracted significant interest from international participants. Experts noted the rapid development of Uzbekistan’s creative sector and emphasised that they are closely following the transformations being carried out in the country in this field.
