Vladimir Spivakov and Ekaterina Mechetina performed in Tashkent.
On 4 May, an evening of symphonic music took place at the Uzbekistan International Forums Palace in Tashkent, featuring Vladimir Spivakov and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
The evening’s soloist was Ekaterina Mechetina, who performed Piano Concerto No. 2 — one of the most expressive works in the piano repertoire.
The programme also featured Pavane and Boléro.
The concert was held to a full house and formed part of a cultural programme bringing together international performers and audiences in Tashkent.
