As part of the International Conference on Creative Economy in St. Petersburg, a round table "UNESCO Creative Cities. New Urban Economy", in which Azizbek Mannopov, Deputy Chairperson of Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation took part.
During the discussion, the case of the Bukhara Biennial was presented, which aroused great interest among the participants. It was noted that the implementation of the project contributed to the growth of tourist flow and active involvement of local communities in the cultural life of the city. The Biennial became an example of how cultural initiatives can shape the new economy and strengthen the international image of cities.
