As part of the Bukhara Biennial programme, a discussion session titled “Women of Central Asia” was held, dedicated to the contribution of women to the development of contemporary art in the region.
The session brought together artists and researchers from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan, who shared their experiences and creative approaches.
The participants addressed issues of cultural heritage preservation, the expansion of opportunities for women in the creative field, and the development of new artistic practices.
