On 2 November, the stage of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoi hosted a concert dedicated to cultural collaboration between Japan and Uzbekistan.
The programme featured acclaimed Japanese musicians Kazuhiro Miyamura (oboe), Maoko Katsumura (violin), Mitsutsune Tsujimoto (trumpet), and Tasaichiro Mochizuki (tsuzumi), who performed alongside the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan under the baton of Alibek Kabdurakhmonov.
The concert presented a selection of classical and contemporary works that beautifully intertwined Eastern and Western traditions, evoking an atmosphere of harmony and mutual inspiration. The evening stood as a vivid testament to how art transcends borders, fostering friendship and understanding between Japan and Uzbekistan.
