This October, seize the opportunity to explore the timeless traditions and creative spirit of Uzbekistan with The Living Heritage of Samarkand Course in collaboration with @schooloftraditionalarts.
The programme begins in Tashkent and continues in Samarkand, where participants will learn from leading tutors, explore the geometry and ornament of Ulugh Beg Madrasa, and contribute to a collaborative exhibition. It is an opportunity to immerse yourself in Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage while gaining new perspectives on contemporary artistic practice.
Coinciding with the 43rd UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, participants will have the opportunity to have work exhibited at Registan during this international event.
