On 13 April, the National Pavilion of Uzbekistan was officially opened at Expo 2025 in Osaka. The ceremony began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. It was attended by Gayane Umerova, chairperson of the Art and Culture Development  Foundation, Mayor of Osaka City Yokoyama Hideyuki, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan Mukhsinhuja Abdurakhmonov and project architect Shirin Brukner.

After the ceremony, a tour of the pavilion was organised for the guests of honour - Mayor of Osaka City Yokoyama Hideyuki and Mayor of Nara Nakagawa Gen.

The guests were accompanied by Shirin Brückner and Lebanese designer Nada Debs. The participants of the visit familiarised themselves with the architectural concept and the exposition reflecting Uzbekistan's cultural heritage, sustainable development and innovative future.
