On 17 August 2025, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, and Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Japan Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Hisayuki Fujii also attended the event. The Japan Pavilion, presented under the title "Human Living Laboratory", is designed as a space that reflects how Japan's innovation, culture and traditions can contribute to a sustainable and harmonious society.
During the visit, they also discussed prospects for expanding cultural, academic and economic ties, as well as opportunities for joint implementation of international projects.
