Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, met with Tristram Hunt, Director of the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A).
During the meeting, the parties discussed areas of co-operation and possibilities of implementing joint projects between the institutions. Cooperation with the Victoria and Albert Museum covers the organisation of historical exhibitions, development of professional potential of specialists and joint work on museum collections.
New initiatives aimed at strengthening cultural ties and expanding international co-operation will be announced in the near future.
