Today, the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation hosted a meeting between its Chairperson, Gayane Umerova, and Her Excellency Aurélie Bouchez, Ambassador of the French Republic to Uzbekistan, on the occasion of the conclusion of her diplomatic mission.
The two sides reviewed the outcomes of their collaboration, highlighting major exhibition projects at the Louvre and the Arab World Institute, joint programs with the French National Institute of Cultural Heritage (INP) focused on the restoration of museum artifacts, as well as preparations for upcoming exhibitions at the Grand Palais and the Arab World Institute scheduled for 2028. They also discussed plans for the Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra’s tour in France.
Gayane Umerova expressed her gratitude to Ambassador Bouchez for her personal contribution to strengthening Uzbek-French cultural ties and underscored the importance of continuing the initiatives launched during her tenure.
