We are pleased to announce that the collaborative work of Lebanese designer Nada Debs and Uzbek master craftsman Sirojiddin Rahmatillaev has been longlisted for the Dezeen Awards 2025.
Their reinterpretation of the traditional Uzbek tapchan merges heritage craftsmanship with modern design, reflecting the evolution of Uzbekistan’s artistic practice. Chosen from over 4,300 entries across 89 countries, the project is among 192 works now competing for recognition, with the shortlist to be revealed in October and winners announced in November 2025.
