Tamerlano will be presented to international audiences for the first time on 10-11 January 2026 at Dubai Opera. The production directed by Stefano Poda will combine music, drama and visual art, revealing the eternal themes of love, power and fate.
Handel's music will be performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan under the baton of Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, the Orchestra of Folk Instruments and the State Choir of Uzbekistan. In this version, the classical score acquires oriental shades and new sound.
