The Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation has announced the end of the multimedia exhibition “Jadids: Letters to Turkestan.” Held at Tashkent City Mall, the exhibition opened on 18 July 2024 and remained open until 3 December 2025.
The exhibition told the stories of 73 students from Turkestan who studied in Europe during the 1920s and featured over 300 unique archival materials from different collections. Many documents, letters, and photographs were shown to the public for the first time.
After the exhibition closed, preparations began for a new multimedia project. The Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation will soon share more information about the upcoming initiative.
