A meeting was held at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris

At the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, a meeting was held between the Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, Gayane Umerova, the Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to UNESCO, Kamol Mukhtarov, and UNESCO’s Deputy Director-General for Social and Human Sciences, Gabriela Ramos.

The discussions focused on the launch of the UNESCO-Uzbekistan International Prize named after Al-Biruni and the organization of its inaugural award ceremony during the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand.

Particular attention was given to UNESCO’s report on Uzbekistan’s readiness for AI technologies, the country’s participation in the UNESCO Youth Forum, and the organization of an exhibition titled “Uzbekistan at the Crossroads of the Great Silk Road” at the UNESCO Headquarters.
