The opening ceremony of Uzbekistan's National Pavilion at the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale took place today in Venice.

As part of the country's fifth participation in this prestigious international forum, A Matter of Radiance project dedicated to a unique scientific facility - the Heliocomplex - was presented.

The exposition of the pavilion reinterprets the heritage of Uzbek modernism, combining architecture, science, contemporary art and current issues of sustainable development.

Central to the project is the scientific legacy of Academician Sadyk Azimov, the initiator of the Heliocomplex, whose vision and efforts launched one of the largest solar energy studies in the region.
