As part of Milan Design Week 2026, Aral School presents 12 objects created by participants through their research of the Aral Sea region. The school’s first collection focuses on the themes of water and food ecosystems.
Responding to the regional context amid environmental and social transformations, participants reinterpret accessible sustainable materials.
The exhibition is open to the public and demonstrates how local experience can be transformed into a universal language of research and design.
The initiative is being developed within the framework of a broader national strategy and programmes of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at identifying sustainable solutions for the Aral Sea region.
