A finish by the Aral Sea

Night, headlamps and the first steps across the Ustyurt Plateau. Neither the strong wind nor the rain stopped the runners: one after another, the finishers of 100, 50, 25 and 15 kilometres reached the shore, and every finish here was a true victory.

This day went down in history: ARAL ULTRA became the first 100 km ultramarathon in Uzbekistan, and its finishers will forever remain the first.
