The State Academic Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoi will stage opera "Tamerlano"

On 2, 3 and 4 November, the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoi will stage Tamerlano, George Frideric Handel’s opera directed by Stefano Poda.

Handel’s music will be presented in a contemporary interpretation by Kirill Richter, performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan under the direction of Alibek Kabdurakhmanov. The orchestral sound will be enriched by a combination of traditional Uzbek national instruments.
