On 31 August in Venice, Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, met with Simone Venturini, Mayor of Venice.
Under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the country continues to expand its international cultural cooperation and strengthen its presence across leading global cultural platforms.
Particular attention was given to future joint initiatives, including a major exhibition of Uzbekistan’s archaeological heritage, which will open at Palazzo Grimani in spring 2027 and bring together more than 100 unique museum artefacts.
