On 31 August, the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, in partnership with the Central Park of Culture and Recreation (formerly Telman Park), hosted a public celebration marking the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with children, people with disabilities and their families at the centre of the programme.

The event featured eight craft and five music stations along the Cultural Heritage Alley, offering activities including pottery, suzani embroidery, and performances on the doira and dutar. The amphitheatre hosted a national dance workshop, musical performances and a concert featuring prominent Uzbek pop artists.

Designed as an open and inclusive cultural space, the programme brought together guests of different abilities, providing opportunities for everyone to participate in the activities and experience the celebrations together.
