The Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation is supporting the dissemination of the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize 2027 international open call, encouraging artists and craftspeople from Uzbekistan to apply. The Prize recognises makers who reinterpret traditional knowledge and techniques through a distinctive contemporary approach.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over and may submit one or more works, created individually or collaboratively. Works must be original and must not have previously received a prize. Paintings, works on canvas and manuscripts are not eligible.

The winner will receive €50,000, and two special mentions will receive €5,000 each. Finalists’ works will be exhibited in Europe in spring 2027.

ACDF may review local expressions of interest and support selected applicants in preparing their submissions to the international open call. To apply, send a short biography, a brief description of the work and photographs to opencalls@acdf.uz by 15 October 2026.
