On 24 February, Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, held a meeting with Michael Govan, Director of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

On 24 February, Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, held a meeting with Michael Govan, Director of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation, the development of museum initiatives, as well as opportunities to implement joint research projects and exchange expertise in the field of conservation and the preservation of cultural heritage.

Following the meeting, the Foundation’s delegation toured the museum’s exhibition spaces and reviewed its current exhibitions.
