The Saint Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre of Boris Eifman presented three evenings in Tashkent, after which the audience was reluctant to let the performers leave the stage.
Set to music by Tchaikovsky, Schnittke and Bizet, the ballet tells the story of the legendary ballerina Olga Spessivtseva: genius, revolution, exile, and the slow fading of a human soul.
