On 1 September, the Uzbek National Puppet Theatre premiered the performance "The Blue Dwarf, or The Pearl Heart", realised at the initiative of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation.

The first audiences of the new performance were children and their parents, who together discovered a story told primarily not through words, but through movement, music, light and the expressive imagery of puppet theatre.

At the heart of the production is a story of compassion, sincerity, the ability to forgive and the willingness to lend a helping hand. Alongside the characters, audiences journey through a series of trials, discovering the value of caring for loved ones, mutual support and selflessness.

The next performances of "The Blue Dwarf, or The Pearl Heart"will take place at the Uzbek National Puppet Theatre on 5, 6, 12 and 13 September at 12:00 and 17:00.
