As part of the International Jazz Festival in Tashkent, Tigran Hamasyan — one of the most distinctive pianists and composers of his generation — will take the stage.

Born in Armenia, Hamasyan masterfully blends jazz improvisation with progressive rock and the rich folk traditions of his homeland. His talent has been recognised with victories at prestigious competitions, including the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. At the festival, the pianist will present music from his new album Manifeste — a musical journey where ancient melodies meet a contemporary sound.

We look forward to welcoming you on 6 May at 19:30 at the open-air area of the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”.

The festival runs from 28 April to 13 May. Admission to all concerts is free.
