As part of Milan Design Week, the Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) held its awards ceremony, at which the Uzbekistan Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka—realised by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation and designed by ATELIER BRÜCKNER—was honoured with the ADF Design Award 2026 in the Hospitality category. Architect Yannis Renner presented the pavilion to an international audience.
The winners’ exhibition was showcased as part of the Fuorisalone programme in Milan. Projects were displayed through exhibition panels and a physical model, with selections made by an international jury involving leading organisations, including Zaha Hadid Architects, Kengo Kuma & Associates and Dezeen.
This award marks the pavilion project’s 14th international accolade. It has previously received several prestigious honours, including the gold award from the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE Awards) at Expo 2025 Osaka, as well as the Red Dot Award, German Design Award, International Design Awards (IDA), Exhibitor Magazine’s Expo Awards, Fassa Bortolo Sustainable Architecture Prize, DDC Award, FRAME Awards, CommAwards, iF Design Award and BLOOLOOP Innovation Awards.
